GRESB B.V is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy (together with our website terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any Personal Data (defined below) we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your Personal Data and how we will treat it.


1.1 We may collect and process the following information about you:

1.1.1 Information regarding your name, employer name, email address, postal address and telephone number that you provide in connection with the use of our site.

1.1.2 If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

1.1.3 Forms completed in response to our annual consultation period.

1.1.4 We may retain details of products and services provided by us to you including details of invoices and receipts.

1.1.5 Transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfillment of your orders.

1.3 Our site includes password-protected areas of our site known by us as the GRESB Portal, which may be web pages hosted by our external information technology service providers appointed by us. However, this policy only applies to Personal Data provided in those areas of our site. Our site does not include the third party websites described below.


2.1 We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

2.2 For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using a cookie file, which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. They enable us:

2.2.1 To estimate our audience size and usage pattern;

2.2.2 To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customize our site according to your individual interests;

2.2.3 To speed up your searches;

2.2.4 To recognize you when you return to our site.

6.1 You have a legal right to a copy of any Personal Data about you held by us. You also have a right to correct errors in that information. You have the right to request that we cease to use your Personal Data for any direct marketing purpose.

6.2 Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any Personal Data to these websites.


7.1 Applicable legislation gives you the right to access Personal Data held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with this legislation. Any access request may be subject to a fee of 250 Euros per request to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.


8.1 Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
